CHALLENGE
Before implementing the sSuite solution, the defective goods sales process was partially manual and inconsistent. There was no unified system for categorizing, tracking, and approving the sale of damaged items, which resulted in inconsistent margins and missed sales potential. Because of different approaches to classification and price formation across locations, the MUP (gross margin) was below expectations, only 0.53. The goal of the project was to digitize, standardize, and optimize the entire workflow of recording, approving, and selling defective goods with full control over margins and revenue.
SOLUTION
With the implementation of sSuite, a unified, fully digitized defective-goods management process was established. The workflow covers all steps from reporting damage and photographing the item, through categorization, to approval and pricing. Real-time tracking of each item was enabled, with clear rules and visibility across all locations. The system ensures full transparency, consistent margins, and simple reporting on defective- goods sales.

Results
After implementing the sSuite solution, the MUP for sold defective goods increased from 0.53 to 1.20, achieving an ROI of 12.4. Standardization and automation provided much better control over price formation and prevented underpricing items with minor damage. With access to real-time data and categorization by damage type, teams were able to make faster and more accurate approval decisions. The result is significantly increased profitability and a fully established system for quality control and valuation of defective goods.
